I lead product and service design teams to exceptional work

I have developed this expertise over 20 years working for startups and Fortune 100 clients

Product & service Design

Using Human-Centered Design and Lean UX methods, I collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, model, design, validate, and deploy human-centered product and service experiences. Projects I have completed are varied: health care service experiences, machine learning-driven Saas/B2B/enterprise apps, mobile apps, along with large e-commerce and marketing sites, and CRM programs. I lead workshops, conceive solutions, design prototypes, and plan and manage co-design sessions and validation research. I come from digital user experience and interaction design, and have developed my career more broadly as a strategically minded customer experience designer.

Human-Centered Design LEADERSHIP

I develop, mentor, and manage successful customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX) design teams, built around HCD and design thinking practices. I take particular pride in supporting team members' individual growth, helping them to acquire skills, cultivate confidence, and expand their leadership qualities and potential. Successful human-centered design work requires partners. I strive to lead laterally, developing relationships across organizational silos that lead to more connected ideas, stronger alignment, and better customer outcomes. Through lean processes, HCD methodologies and extensive facilitation work, I lead complex teams to more humanly inspired experiences.

I design products and service experiences that deliver health, inspiration, connection, competitive advantage, and play

The foundation of a great product is presence

Being truly present for colleagues and team members is the starting point for building team cultures that elevate creativity and growth, and diminish toxic strains of mistrust, fear and doubt. Open and creative cultures where people see and respect each other solve problems better. They can better see and empathize with what's real in people's experiences—their struggles, their joys, their desires. From this place, real insights give birth to ideas that can break through blockages, quiet chaotic noise, and create flow. Great products start with a willing attitude, positive regard, and presence.
